Post Bath Babies

There are few things more satisfying than two freshly bathed babies.

Seriously. I don't know if it's the sense of accomplishment, the fact that it's proof that the night is winding down or if it's because they look so adorable all powdered up and ready for bed. Scratch that, I do know why. :o)

Here's a little post bath grump.

Followed by a little pout.

Natalie loves the water. We thought Patrick loved bath time but the older this little gal gets, the longer bath time extends and the more giggles and splashes we get to enjoy.

I love being able to bathe her in the kitchen sink... it makes it so much more enjoyable when I don't have to kneel down or worry about her slipping. This way we are eye to eye and we both get to really enjoy the fun.

I know my time at home with these two precious babies where they are my only responsibility is sadly coming to an end and so I try to savor these [mostly] stress free times as much as I can. It's without a doubt one of the most fun parts of this stay at home mom gig. :o)

Show and Tell, Life Planner

I have loved Erin Condren products for years- I have used her designs for family Christmas cards, Patrick's 1st and 2nd birthday invitations and her address labels are the best. So, when the blogosphere started buzzing with excitement over her Life Planner, I just knew it would be awesome.

I got the taffy pattern and chose my own colorway in green and navy and I just love it!

The planner is extremely well made- thick paper and a great plastic spiral that won't snag your bag. I love this quote at the front of the book.

Another one of my favorite things about it is these great Special Dates pages- perfect for remembering birthdays, anniversaries, etc.

The monthly tabs are awesome and I love the monthly overview page at the beginning of each month.

Because my planner was involved in the hackergeddon, Erin included some great little extra goodies that I've stored in the little pouch in the calendar. SHe seriously thought of everything while designing this planner.

I'm completely over the moon excited with my planner and I've already ordered another for a friend and I'm placing an order today for an EC Address Book.

This is seriously an amazing product and I have been telling just about everyone I meet about it. They are definitely the best planner I have ever used and I would recommend them to everyone!

Water Babies

These two love the water. Patrick is absolutely fearless and jumps into the water without any help while Natalie loves to kick and splash from the safety of her floatie.

My parents community has a great swimming pool and little kiddie pool and these two love it. This is pretty much how we spend our mornings. Grandma and I take the kiddies to the pool where they splash around and enjoy these lovely desert mornings.

The good life!

The OC Fair

One of my favorite summer activities has always been going to the fairs. Growing up, we used to go to the LA County Fair but it's kinda scary now so we've traded it for the OC Fair. We haven't been in the last two years because Patrick was so little and then I was super pregnant with Natalie but this year there was no excuse!

We went with my wonderful mother and father in law and my favorite cousin, Corey came along as well.

Although we didn't indulge in any of the crazy fried foods, we sure had a ton of fun.

Patrick got to enjoy some of the rides-- he loved it! Although, I'm not gonna lie- I was a little scared. Carnival rides always seem a little janky to me.

He also played a few fun games and the operators were so sweet- because he was so little and it was a slow night, they just kept giving him more balls because he was having so much fun!

I love seeing the rides all lit up when it gets dark- definitely one of my favorite things about the fair.

We had a great time and I definitely look forward to making this a family tradition!

Ahh!

Wow, I start my blog up and then completely neglect it for such a long time! We're driving back home after some time at my parents in Palm Springs. I'll do a recap when I get home.

Here's a picture of my babies- where did the time go?!
